PRINCIPLES OF MOVEMENT
The mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a system of values based on the Promise and the Scout Law, helping to build a better world, where individual fulfillment and constructive participation in society are valued.
THE World Organization of the Scout Movement defines as Principles of Scouting:
1 - Duty to God (belief and experience of a faith, regardless of what it is);
two - Duty to others (participation in society, good deed, service to others);
3 - Duty to yourself (healthy growth and self-development).
The movement therefore seeks to develop deep social skills and characteristics in young people, focusing on three fundamental pillars:
Physical development - Provide the physical development of young people through outdoor games, exercises, excursions and camps.
moral development - Purpose is character with a purpose. And the purpose is that this generation will be healthy in the future, to develop the highest form of understanding and duty towards God, country and neighbor.
Intellectual development – Adequate preparation is given based on the knowledge acquired in each of the stages, such as cooking; camping, knots, swimming and rescue; First aid; safety rules, guidance, signal transmission, nature study…
